Coral Bleaching

My project is inspired by coral and coral reefs. More specifically I will be focusing on environmental issues involving coral such as coral bleaching as well as the differences between corals in their original colours and during the process of bleaching. Coral bleaching is currently a key environmental issue that is prominent in many of our oceans and seas. A notable example is The Great Barrier Reef. I will also be focusing on the shapes of coral and coral reefs. My final outcome will be a garment, more specifically a shrug styled top combining all aspects of my research from shapes and silhouettes to colours.
