I am a final year fashion undergraduate student. I have recently completed my Final Major Project which was about Female Rage. This collection combines the layers and complexity of feminine forms found in nature, such as seashells and swans, with female rage in horror media and feminist activism in performance art. This collection targets a high-end, sustainable market. It experiments with a wide variety of textiles and processes, ranging from knit, screen print, fabric manipulations and dyeing. The collection produced is of five outfits largely focused on womenswear with the inclusion of one unisex outfit. The garments produced showcase bold and varying silhouettes and textures, to convey the complexity and nuance of female rage within these outfits.
