I hold a postgraduate degree in Fashion Design from Pearl Academy, Bengaluru and an undergraduate degree in Fine Arts from Stella Maris College, Chennai. My fashion dreams span across through various versatile knowledge & skills such as CLO 3D, Fashion Illustration, Textile Surface Design, Digital Photography, Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator, Fashion Technical Flats, Print & Motifs Development, Fabric & Trims Sourcing, Market Research, Inspiration, Mood & Concept Board Creation, Pattern making, Garment construction, PLM, BOM, Design Development, Microsoft Designer, Canva, NewArc.ai, Fabric manipulations, Tech Packs, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint & Excel, Graphic Prints and Social Media Marketing. I’ve gained hands-on experience through internships at Label Shivali, Genus Apparels, Craftin Images, Fashion e-Global Center, in Chennai, India and Lifestyle International Pvt. Ltd (Melange - Colour Me) in Bangalore, India as a Fashion & Textile Designer Intern. I also worked at Myntra as an AI Stylist Intern for the My Stylist feature in Myntra app in Bangalore, India. Plus, I have worked as a Freelance Fashion Designer for Men's & Women's Street & Ethnic Wear Collections for a start-up brand - Label Pallavi Sethi in Chennai, India. Currently, I'm working with Myntra Fashion as a Fashion Subject Matter Expert (SME) / Catalogue Executive, based in Chennai, India (Remote), through Siddharth Enterprises as vendor company for Myntra app & official website. I thrive at the crossroads of fashion, technology, and innovation, constantly pushing boundaries to shape the future of the industry. I immerse myself in the dynamic fusion of fashion and technology, seeking fresh perspectives that keep me ahead in this ever-evolving industry. My passion lies in fusing design with digital innovation, always charting new territory in the fashion-tech space for both Men & Women.

Gumrag Sohman - Lekope - Live Industry Project

Gumrag Sohman dance is performed on the occasion of Ali-Aye-Ligang and in Mising Bihu. In this festival a popular dance is performed by the young Mising people which is known as Gumrag. The formal dance of the festival starts from the easternmost house of the village and in the end it extending towards the field and the river. This dance is performed by encircling the courtyard of the house of the villagers. Lékopé is a brainchild of Ayang Trust, a NGO from Majuli, Assam. Ayang trust works primarily with the Mising tribal community for education, livelihoods and community development . We work with women of Mising tribes and other communities who make handcrafted textiles and bamboo products . Our goal is to build sustainable livelihoods for the artisans in Majuli.
