Snow Chrysanthemums sugar panels

Category: Interior

Competitions: Home Competition [Now Closed]

28 sugar panels/wall panels were produced to reflect sustainable standards through materials, manufacturing methods, and practice. It costs ~$0.60 to make each 155 x 150 x 30mm sugar panel. The components of the sugar panels include a heated and hardened sugar solution installed with audio grille clips designed to be attached to the wall. The sugar panels require little heat and water to be manufactured and does not produce waste water. By exposing the sugar panels to hot water, the audio grille clips can be retrieved and reused for a circular economy.
