Following the awards ceremony event, the winners of the Only Natural 2025 International Student Design Competition spent a week exhibiting their creations at the Material Matters Fair in London.
Attended by thousands of members of the public, hundreds of journalists and representatives of some of the world’s biggest brands, the fair is a highlight of the London Design festival. It showcases the latest in innovation, sustainable design and material intelligence at Space House, one of the city’s most famous modernist buildings.
The Only Natural winners showed their designs alongside 40 carefully curated brands and emerging designers.
Winner of the Furniture Category for At Thresholds, Le Phan Vu said: “It’s been an absolute honour to be here in London presenting my work alongside such talented individuals. Truly a surreal experience”.
Winner of the Interiors Category for Symbiosis Garden, Yu Watanabe said: “It was a pleasure meeting everyone and I really appreciate the chance to be part of the exhibition!”
And the People’s Choice Winner for Swivel, Sriya Reddy said: “This competition truly does so much for students which is so rare to see. I’m extremely grateful to have been a part of it”.
