The University of Portsmouth is a public university in Portsmouth, England. It is one of only four universities in the South East of England rated as Gold in the Government’s Teaching Excellence Framework. With approximately 28,280 undergraduate and postgraduate students, the university is the 25th largest in the United Kingdom by higher education student enrollments. Comprising five faculties, 24 schools and several other services, the university employs approximately 3,500 staff.
