The shortlists for the Only Natural 2026 Student Design Competition have been revealed, and our expert judges will now be scoring in the next phase of the competition.
This year has been our biggest and strongest competition to date. We received an incredible standard of entries from emerging designers around the world, all demonstrating outstanding creativity, craftsmanship and a commitment to designing with natural materials. From innovative fashion collections and accessories to inspiring furniture and interior concepts, the breadth of ideas and materials on display made the shortlisting process more challenging than ever.
The shortlisted projects showcase the exciting future of renewable design, highlighting the beauty, versatility and potential of natural materials. Congratulations to every designer whose work has been selected for the next stage.

Our judging panels are currently reviewing each project to select this year’s category winners and overall champions, with the winners joining us in London this Autumn for the 2026 awards ceremony and exhibition.
The excitement doesn’t stop there. People’s Choice voting is also open, giving you the opportunity to support your favourite designs and decide this year’s People’s Choice winners. Votes are open until 31st July, midnight BST.
