Ana Del Rio is an award-winning British/Spanish fashion designer specialising in leathercraft. Intending to lead a Leather Revolution, through her brand ANA DEL RIO, she focuses on creating timeless contemporary leather pieces which primarily focus on the fusion of the rich tradition of leathercraft with the innovation of surface techniques.
Following on from a BA (Hons) in Fashion Design, she is currently based in London at Cockpit Arts thanks to the Leathersellers x Cockpit Award. Other Awards she has received include the Real Leather. Stay Different: Overall International Joint Award 2023, the Graduate Fashion Week: Fashion Innovation Award 2023 and the Roadley Award 2023: Supporting Innovation in Sustainability.
As Chair of the Youth Advisory Board for the Queen Elizabeth Scholarship Trust and a Freeman of the Leathersellers, she is dedicated to empowering the next generation. Through her roles as a judge for the Only Natural student design competition and a volunteer for Inspiring the Future, she works to transform educational experiences and support young creatives. Her goal is to create meaningful impact and a lasting legacy by giving back to the industries and communities that have supported her own journey.
