Arunima is a Lifestyle Accessory Design Student at the National Institute of Design, where her design approach has developed to achieve a balance of functionality, aesthetics and accessibility.
Bamboo, Arunima’s chosen natural material, is an exceptionally sustainable resource due to its minimal environmental impact and abundant availability.
Arunima’s project, Bamboo Radiance, takes inspiration from the fluid and organic lines of bamboo leaves. These shapes are beautifully reflected in her design’s petal structures. Each candle holder creates a sense of ease and serenity, much like that of a bamboo forest.
