'Eternal' is an exploration of open circular form. The composition allows flowers, foliage, shells and personal objects to be arranged, replaced and recomposed over time. Each arrangement redefines the visual rhythm of the piece, giving it a new identity without changing its structure. The making process begins with a lightweight framework of bamboo tissue paper. This core establishes the form while reducing the weight of the final object. Clay is built over the framework, creating structure. Once cured, every surface is wrapped with a wool cotton yarn. Six secondary circular forms are constructed using the same layered process. Natural materials define both the appearance and raison d'etre of the work. Wool introduces warmth and tactility. Clay develops a rich surface through making and use. Orchids and foliage bring colour, freshness and seasonality, allowing the composition to change with time. Together, these materials create an object that remains visually dynamic while preserving their authentic character. Every interaction produces a different expression, making Eternal an apparatus that evolves through use rather than completion.
