Iestyn Rhys Howorth

I am a highly motivated and multi disciplined Product Design student going into my final year of study at The Glasgow School of Art. Through my practice I aim to create design-led social and environmental innovations that provide a framework for a sustainable future. A demand for creating in a sustainable manner has never been more urgent than ever. The more I dive into the production and manufacturing processes of the design industry, the more shocked I am. I have a belief that bio materials offer a solution to clean up and even improve our broken design system. Keeping products and materials in use at their highest value, and regenerating natural systems must now be a priority for all designers working with tangible materials.
