NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF DESIGN

I’m currently pursuing my Master’s in Apparel Design at the National Institute of Design. I enjoy exploring textiles, crafts, and clothing, and I’m curious about how ideas, materials, and people come together through design. I’m also drawn to photography and documentation as ways of telling visual stories. I like working on projects that feel playful and experimental, where I can explore freely and discover new possibilities. Through my work, I try to express curiosity, joy, and a genuine connection with the world around me. I completed my B.Com (Honours) and later went on to study design at the Kerala State Institute of Design, where I pursued a Post Graduate Diploma in Integrated Textile and Apparel Design. This shift helped me build a strong interest in textiles, craft practices, and apparel design. I’ve had the opportunity to gain industry experience as a Textile Design Intern at Pranaah by Poornima Indrajith and as a Design Intern at Translate Ikat India. Through these experiences, I explored textile development, engaged with craft-based design processes, and worked on contemporary interpretations of traditional textiles. They’ve played an important role in shaping my approach, which leans towards research-driven and craft-centered design.
