My name is Zoé Szokalopulosz, and I hold a master’s degree in Industrial Design from Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design, where I also completed my bachelor’s degree. My passion for industrial design stems from my interest in enhancing existing objects with new functionalities, applying innovative technologies, and improving usability. I believe it is crucial to highlight the uniqueness and innovative nature of new products in industrial design. Additionally, I have a strong interest in furniture design, interior architecture, and home decoration. Over the years, I have participated in several competitions and achieved first place in the following: In 2022, I won first place in a competition organized by MOL, where I designed a thermo mug with a graphic pattern for Fresh Corner. This thermo mug is currently available at MOL gas stations. In 2021, a public furniture design of mine won first prize in a competition by Bartók Béla Boulevard. In 2022, my poster design titled "The Original is the Real One" won first place. In 2024, our developmental game for children, Vedoot, was featured in the 2024 Green Product Award Trend Book (page 130). From 2020-2021, I interned at S39 Hybrid Design Studio, where I contributed to 3D modeling, design, and prototype creation. In 2022, I attended an interior design school for six months, gaining valuable insights into the profession. I was awarded the International Higher Education Scholarship for the academic years 2022/2023 and 2023/2024.
