Istituto Marangoni: Fashion, Art and Design

Fashion Design and Accessories BFA

As a final-year fashion design and accessories student, I am passionate about creating innovative and sustainable fashion pieces that blend nature and modern aesthetics. My current project centres around the theme of coffee, exploring its rich textures, colours, and cultural significance to craft unique, eco-friendly designs. This endeavour not only highlights my design skills but also my commitment to sustainability and natural materials.

EcoBrew bag: A Sustainable Coffee-Inspired Design

Category: Accessories

Competitions: Fashion Competition [Now Closed]

With a deep-rooted passion for craftsmanship and a profound love for the art of coffee. My creation, a bag made from coffee-dyed leather and jute, embodies a commitment to sustainability and the use of natural materials. The leather, dyed with coffee, not only reflects my appreciation for this beloved beverage but also showcases an innovative approach to eco-friendly design. Paired with durable and biodegradable jute, the bag is a testament to my dedication to creating beautiful, functional items that honour both tradition and the environment. Through this project, I aim to highlight the potential of sustainable practices in contemporary design, blending aesthetics with environmental consciousness.
