Competitions: Fashion Competition 2026

Subsurface is a fashion collection that explores transformation through the use of innovative biomaterials made from ashes and hibiscus. Inspired by the emotional journey of pressure, rupture, and rebirth, each look represents a different stage of resilience and renewal. By transforming natural waste into wearable materials, the project challenges conventional textile practices while highlighting the beauty that can emerge from what is often considered an end. *Subsurface* merges sustainability, material innovation, and storytelling to create garments that reflect the strength, fragility, and continuous evolution of both nature and human experience.
