Competitions: Fashion Competition 2026

Second Shell is an experimental outerwear piece that investigates the concept of protection as a second skin. Inspired by natural armor systems, fish scales, and glacial structures, the jacket transforms traditional leather construction into an architectural silhouette composed of layered volumes and sculptural fastening details. Contrasting rigid materials with flexible knit sections, the garment creates a balance between defense, movement, and contemporary functionality, redefining the leather jacket as both emotional shelter and wearable structure.
