Hajnalka Gólya
Kingston School of Art
I am a passionate Industrial and Product Designer with a strong interest in furniture design, sustainability, and user-centered solutions. I hold a BA in Design from Széchenyi István University (Győr, Hungary), and I am currently continuing my studies at Kingston University London, specializing in Furniture Design within the Industrial and Product Design MA program. My design approach goes beyond aesthetics. I believe in creating functional, long-lasting, and meaningful objects that improve everyday life. In my recent projects, I have explored modular children's furniture that adapts to different growth stages, as well as interactive design solutions that promote learning, posture, and sensory development. During my studies, I also gained international experience in Sustainable Design through a mobility program in Portugal, which expanded my creative mindset and strengthened my ability to thrive in multicultural and collaborative environments. I aspire to become a designer who crafts honest, intelligent, and sustainable products. Furniture that tells a story, respects the environment, and enhances people’s lives.
