A Garden Rewoven explores the relationship between nature, textile waste, and the preservation of materials through conscious craftsmanship. This dress and bolero ensemble combines natural linen and cotton with sustainable techniques such as sashiko embroidery, botanical ecoprint, and recycled batik scrap corsages. Inspired by the regenerative cycle of nature, the design transforms overlooked materials into meaningful elements while incorporating Indonesian textile heritage through megamendung, parang, and kawung motifs. The simple empire-inspired silhouette and minimal pattern structure reduce fabric waste, reflecting a mindful approach to creating fashion that values both environmental responsibility and traditional artistry.
