My name is Alice, I'm from Italy.
My journey to becoming a fashion designer has been anything but linear; a narrative woven with threads of self-discovery, unexpected detours, and unwavering commitment.
Growing up in the picturesque province of Varese surrounded by stunning lakes and rolling hills, instilled within me an inherent appreciation for aesthetics and beauty. This idillic upbringing , however, contrasted sharply with the tumultuous period following my 2019 high school graduation. My classical education provided a solid foundation in the humanities, yet it did not fully prepare me for the upheaval caused by the covid-19 pandemic. The initial anxiety and uncertainty gradually yielded to a profound sense of clarity, a newfound understanding of my resilience, and the imperative need for significant change. This epiphany spurred a bold decision : to embark on a period of self-discovery, commericing with a summer in Sardinia. This spontaneous adventures was a leap of faith a departure from a a familiar comfort of my hometown. The six months I spent working and living in Sardinia proved transformative. Immersed in the vibrant culture, breathtaking coastal landscapes, and warm hospitality of the locals, I gained as a crucial stepping stone in my personal growth, preparing me for the next chapter of my journey. Following my Sardinia sojourn, I unexpectedly found myself in Switzerland for the winter season, working alongside colleagues in the bustling ski resorts. The stark contrast between the Mediterranean warmth of Sardinia and the crisp alpine air of Switzerland further broadened my horizons, exposing me to diverse cultures and perspectives . This experience, while challenging, reinforced my growing self-assurance and ability to navigate unfamiliar environments. Even amidst the breathtaking scenery and demands of the winter season, I maintained a laser focus on my long-term goals. Before leaving for Switzerland, I had already made a firm decision to pursue a career in fashion design. Recognizing it was the middle of the academic year, I meticulously planned my return to formal education, ensuring a smooth transition back to my studies in September. Upon returning to Italy, I embarked on a diligent search for the ideal fashion design academy.
My time at university has been an exhilarating whirlwind of creativity, collaboration and personal growth
