LI CHI CHIANG

Shih Chien University

I am a fashion design student from Shih Chien University in Taipei. Guided by Wabi-sabi and minimalism, my work explores the dialogue between raw materials and the body. I specialize in craftsmanship, using hand-stitching and organic textures to transform natural materials into tactile structures.

This collection redefines the relationship between materials and the body. The top is draped and hand-stitched directly onto the dress form to capture organic, rising contours. Conversely, the trousers are developed through structured precision: mapping cord paths onto flat fabric panels before machine-stitching the heavy ropes. Each coiled line serves as a tangible trace, transforming garment construction into a silent tactile philosophy. Main materials include 100% cotton rope, cotton cord, and linen-cotton blend fabrics.
