Otis College of Art and Design

I am a third year Fashion Design student attending Otis College of Art and Design. Inspired by nature, sustainable practices, and life experiences I design garments that aim to deepen our relationship with those around us and our world. With inspiration from the past and present I like to construct garments that feel considered; wearable, comfortable, and made to last. Exploring materiality and narrative I hope to inspire slow and more thoughtful relationships with clothing.

Competitions: Fashion Competition 2026

Soft Return explores the idea of giving new life to materials that are often considered waste. Through natural dyeing using discarded plant-based materials, the project transforms what would otherwise be thrown away into something meaningful and beautiful. This renewed life is carried into the garment itself, allowing both the material and its story to be shared with the wearer. Inspired by the comfort and timelessness of traditional kimono garments, the design embraces a relaxed silhouette that encourages ease and simplicity. Drawing from my own experience of wearing a kimono and feeling free from concerns about style or appearance, I wanted to create a garment that allows the wearer to feel calm, natural, and at ease. Through natural materials and thoughtful design, Soft Return expresses a gentle return to nature.
