Sadie Worrall

Hello! I'm a woven textile design student currently in my final year at Heriot Watt University, Galashiels. I love to create sustainable designs whether it be using natural materials in my woven fabrics, or creating wearable art with recycled materials. I have created an outfit using drinks can pull tabs which has been on the runway on two separate occasions. I have continued with this media by making and selling small purses as well as creating a new outfit for another fashion show at the end of March 2024. As well as my personal and university projects I have a great love for hiking and biking! I get a lot of my inspiration from the natural world and what better way to gain inspiration than to get out into it? I have always lived rather rurally in Scotland which definitely shows through my colour choices in a lot of my designs. It doesn't seem like it, but Scotland is very rich in colour!
