Bachelor of Design, Fashion Major

Madelyn is an emerging fashion designer. She graduated from her Bachelor of Design, Fashion major in 2022 and has since continued to enter competitions and engage in professional development to further her skills in her field. Recently, she completed the REDRESS design for sustainability course which has inspired her to focus on sustainable design processes. Other specialties include women's wear design, natural dyeing and textile design, digital design, silk fibre art and evening wear. She was a shortlisted designer in both 2022 and 2023 for the International Student Design Competition with Arts Thread. She was also a finalist in the Australian Wearable Art Festival in 2023 with her upcycled coffee pod gown named, Coffee Queen.
