Shenkar College of Engineering, Design and Art

A 2026 graduate of the Shenkar Fashion Design Department, my final collection explores an alternative vision of menswear—one born from a longing for a masculinity that allows itself to feel, reveal, and be vulnerable. Drawing inspiration from historical and gender-fluid menswear, as well as the elaborate courtship displays of peacocks and birds-of-paradise, the collection positions the male body as a meeting point between restraint and exposure, control and surrender. Throughout my studies, I have explored a diverse range of styles, including tailoring, womenswear, stage and musical theater costumes, children's clothing, and adaptive wear for people with physical disabilities. I am constantly curious to explore and reinvent myself, drawing inspiration from the little things in life.

This design explores an alternative vision of menswear, born from a longing for masculinity that permits itself to feel, to reveal, and to be vulnerable. Drawing from historical and gender-fluid menswear, as well as the elaborate courtship displays of peacocks and birds-of-paradise, the collection positions the male body as a meeting point between restraint and exposure, control and surrender. Oversized silhouettes, soft volumes, hand-crafted techniques, exposed seams, and the dialogue between sheer textiles and structured tailoring create a constant tension between the impulse to guard the heart and the desire to be truly seen. It questions how masculinity can exist beyond the limits of emotional restraint, proposing a visual language in which tenderness and intimacy are not weaknesses to conceal, but acts of romantic courage
