Design Academy of Fashion

I am a Serbian fashion designer currently pursuing a Master's degree in Fashion Design. During my studies, I completed an international internship in Lyon, France, where I gained valuable experience in garment construction, pattern making, and couture techniques. I have twice presented award-winning fashion collections at Belgrade Fashion Week and designed costumes for the music group Lelek. My work is dedicated to sustainable fashion, using 100% natural materials and environmentally conscious design practices. I explore textile experimentation through techniques such as natural rust dyeing, while combining craftsmanship, innovation, and conceptual storytelling. Through each collection, I aim to create timeless garments that celebrate nature, authenticity, and responsible fashion.

Oxidized skin-2026

Category: Apparel

Competitions: Fashion Competition 2026

**SECOND SKIN** is a fashion collection that explores the relationship between the human body, time, and natural transformation. Inspired by the textures of rust and the fragility of medical gauze, the collection reflects the marks that life leaves on both materials and people. The garments are created using natural fibres including linen, cotton, and cotton gauze. Rust dyeing is used as both a visual and conceptual process, allowing natural oxidation to become part of the design rather than simply a decorative technique. Every stain and colour variation is unique, making each garment one of a kind. Structured corsetry is combined with soft, layered textiles to create a dialogue between protection and vulnerability. The collection embraces slow craftsmanship, material experimentation, and durability instead of disposable fashion. **SECOND SKIN** encourages a deeper appreciation of natural materials and demonstrates how sustainable design can communicate emotion, identity, and transformation through thoughtful construction and responsible material choices.
