ArteZ University of the arts

I’m a 24-year-old Fashion Design graduate with a deep-rooted love for flowers, plants, and everything nature has to offer. Growing up surrounded by greenery, the natural world is an endless source of inspiration in my work. My designs are infused with a strong focus on sustainability, with textiles at the heart of my creative process. I believe fashion should not only be beautiful, but also conscious, honest, and connected to the earth.

This coat is entirely made from pineapple leather, a plant-based alternative to animal hide. Both the base and the three-dimensional floral appliqués are crafted from this innovative textile. The flowers appear to organically grow from one side of the garment, creating a sense of natural emergence. This asymmetrical blossoming reinforces the narrative of nature reclaiming space, blurring the lines between garment and growth. Through texture, form and material, the coat becomes a living sculpture — a poetic ode to sustainability and the silent, persistent beauty of nature.
