MPS Fashion Management
Born and raised in Kochi, Kerala, I hail from the southern part of India. From my early days, simple colored pencils and paper became my tools for expressing thoughts and imagination. Growing up, activities like painting with my mom and crafting flower arrangements with my dad ignited my passion for creativity. This journey led me to specialize in fashion design at ISDI School of Design & Innovation Parsons, Mumbai. Through internships and workshops, including a stint at Lakme Fashion Week, I gained insights into the dynamic fashion industry. My first role at "One for Blue" involved sustainable design. My subsequent work at Karomi Crafts & Textiles, Kolkata further deepened my commitment to slow fashion and eco-friendly practices. Later as a freelance designer for Blur the Border in Mumbai, I explored innovative ways to merge contemporary fashion with traditional craftsmanship. After gaining 2 years of work experience as a Fashion Designer for sustainable brands in India, I decided to pursue a master's in Fashion Management to gain a deeper understanding of the systems and strategies that drive the fashion world. I am enrolled in the Fashion Management program at Parsons, New York.
