Fashion Design BFA

I am a multidisciplinary designer from Spain, currently based in London. I recently graduated from Central Saint Martins with a BA in Fashion Print. My work seamlessly integrates fashion and technology, and has been featured in various magazines and research journals. I see technology as a catalyst for innovation in the fashion realm. As a certified CLO3D specialist, I create and simulate digital garments, enabling me to explore design elements, fit, and movement in a virtual space. At the moment, I am developing a brand of 3D-printed bags, avant-garde pieces that capture the intricate interplay between humanity and technology in the modern age. These bags will be crafted using Silk PLA and made to order, promoting a more conscious approach to consumption and production.

The Nexus Paradox (Accessories)

Category: Accessories

Competitions: Fashion

In the ever-evolving landscape of the future, we find ourselves immersed in a society where the lines between humanity and technology blur seamlessly. “The Nexus Paradox”, is an avant-garde collection that encapsulates this intriguing era, and explores the dichotomy between human identity and its digital twin where authenticity is a silent battleground. In a world where digital replicas closely mirror their human counterparts, the collection seeks to challenge perceptions and delve into the basis of identity translating the essence of digital existence into physical form. The narrative explores the emotions of those caught in the nexus paradox, questioning the essence of self and the evolving definition of identity. Each piece becomes a narrative thread, weaving through the labyrinth of this societal enigma. The wearers, invited to become virtual protagonists in the collection, become walking canvases, embodying the fragility and resilience of the human spirit within the digital realm. The 3D-printed pieces challenge the fight for genuine originality in a world where everything can be copied. “The Nexus Paradox,” aims to embark the viewer on a journey of introspection, challenging preconceived notions and embracing the intricate interplay between humanity and technology in the modern age. In a world where reflections are indistinguishable, what is our genuine nature?
