I am a designer driven by curiosity about how natural forms and material honesty can shape healthier, more mindful ways of living. My practice centres on designing through making, using hands‑on exploration to uncover new ideas and forms. I’m particularly interested in how design can support wellbeing within the home. My influences include stainability‑minded designers such as Jeanne Gang, Eileen Gray, Børge Mogensen and Hella Jongerius.

Clyft

Competitions: Home Competition 2026

The Clyft collection has been designed to celebrate the natural imperfections of timber. The cleft surface splits the stools and benches fully in half, allowing the user to see the usually hidden natural texture within the cleave. This seating collection embraces the unpredictability of timber, no piece in this collection will ever be the same because of the nature of cleaving. Sustainability is at the core of this seating collection. Made entirely from offcuts, the stools give an opportunity for discarded timber to have another life. My aim is to challenge why designers expect timber to act as an artificial material rather than a living organism that possesses movement and irregularity.
