My name is Teepakorn Prasarttong-osoth. I am an MA Textile and Surface design student at Birmingham City University. I could describing myself as a multi-disciplinary designer working across illustration, surface pattern design, ceramics and fashion accessories. My practice explores carnivorous flora, plants often perceived as aggressive and sinister in contrast to traditional floral forms. By challenging conventional interpretations. Reimagines their aesthetic language through distinct luxury applications.

Venus Charm is the modular accessory inspired by Venus flytrap. Made from dead-stock leather. This charm can be customised with several parts, giving a “co-design experience” to the wearers. This project explores nature’s reclamation and self-protection from humans under the concept “nature always wins” through the aesthetic of the carnivorous flora, plants often perceived as aggressive and sinister in contrast to traditional floral forms. By challenging conventional interpretations, The project reimagines their aesthetic language through distinct a luxury application.

Our partnership provides the opportunity to compete on a world stage, participate in industry led workshops, set up an outstanding portfolio and gain access to the resources that will kickstart careers in fashion and design.
