As a multidisciplinary artist and textile designer, I thrive on crossing boundaries between materials, media, and functions. Currently in my final year of a BA in Textile Design at Chelsea College of Arts, I have specialized in print, but my creative journey resists limitations. I constantly seek to blur lines—between art and design, craft and science, aesthetics and utility. Over the past two years, my practice has shifted toward more sustainable and nature-inspired approaches, especially through projects exploring biomimicry and biodesign. This year, I began incorporating biomaterials into my work, deepening my commitment to ecological thinking and material innovation. My latest project, Perforated Memories, is a reflection of this direction—an exploration of living matter and memory, where organic processes are central to both form and meaning. For me, innovation is essential—not only creatively, but also as a way to challenge and rethink how we produce in the face of a highly polluting textile industry.
