YUCHENG SONG

Hello, my name is Yucheng song , and I am currently in my final year studying Textile Design at Winchester School of Art, University of Southampton. I will be graduating this year, and I’m excited to take the next step in my journey as a designer and future entrepreneur. Throughout my studies, I’ve developed a strong passion for textile design, especially for home textiles such as bedding, curtains, and soft furnishings. I enjoy exploring how textures, colors, and natural inspirations can come together to create designs that bring warmth and beauty into everyday spaces. Sustainability and storytelling are important elements in my design process—I love creating patterns that not only look beautiful but also have meaning behind them. My long-term goal is to build my own home textile brand that reflects both creativity and cultural identity. I hope to combine the technical skills I’ve learned with my unique design vision to create products that stand out in the market. I am especially interested in sharing my journey as a second-generation textile entrepreneur and showing how tradition and innovation can come together in a modern brand.
