Tamar Alon

Tamar Alon is an multidisciplinary designer working at the intersection of material experimentation, craft, and contemporary object design. Her practice explores the transformation of textiles through natural processes, creating sculptural objects that blur the boundaries between function and art. She works with a range of materials and techniques, focusing on process-driven experimentation to create unique pieces that explore form, texture, and movement. A graduate of the Design Academy Eindhoven, Tamar is interested in how traditional materials and slow, handcrafted processes can create contemporary objects with a strong emotional and tactile presence, with a strong focus on natural materials and ethically conscious practices.
