Flora fletcher

Kingston School of Art

Flora Fletcher is a womenswear designer based in London and a recent graduate of Kingston University. Her work explores occasion wear, combining playful femininity with a practical approach to silhouette and material. With a strong focus on materiality and process, her work transforms sentimental ideas into tactile, functional garments meant to be worn and lived in. Her graduate collection, Earth Girl, reimagines the elegance of bridal wear through the lens of childhood freedom and rural life, combining couture-level textile techniques with practical countryside staples. Inspired by days spent in muddy fields and makeshift costumes, her designs celebrate the joy of dressing up without the constraints of formality. She has gained industry experience through design and atelier internships with Cecilie Bahnsen in Copenhagen and Jenny Packham and Roksanda in London, where she developed her skills in design, textile manipulation, garment construction, and luxury finishing. She also worked in Croatia as a costume designer on the second season of Hotel Portofino. With a focus on sustainable sensibility, tactile storytelling, and silhouette innovation, Flora brings a unique perspective to contemporary fashion, balancing ornate design with a deep respect for practicality and purpose.
