Petals Preserved

Category: Accessories

Competitions: Fashion Competition 2026

Petals Preserved is a handcrafted bag that celebrates the beauty of natural design. The fabric was created using the traditional flower pounding technique, where fresh flowers are hammered directly onto the fabric to naturally transfer their pigments, creating unique botanical prints. The bag is further embellished with naturally dyed fabric blooms, and dried flower gelatine sequins, highlighting the textures and delicate details found in the natural world. Inspired by the fleeting life cycle of flowers, the piece embraces sustainability by using natural materials while showcasing traditional textile techniques.
