THE LOOM OF LENORE: A Stitch to circularity

Inspired by Edgar Allan Poe's haunting refrain, "The loom of Lenore," this concept champions hand-knitted garments as the antidote to fashion's wasteful linearity. We reject fleeting, disposable trends, instead crafting enduring pieces imbued with the timeless quality of the raven itself. Each stitch represents a deliberate act of circularity, designed for longevity, repair, and eventual rebirth. These aren't just clothes; they're a solemn vow against obsolescence, a sustainable legacy that whispers "nevermore" to landfills. Our process begins with the meticulous reclamation of cotton fabric scraps. These scraps are transformed: cut into strips, stitched, and piped into continuous, yarn-like strands. Any excess fabric is upcycled, ensuring zero waste. These unique fabric "yarns" are then wound into balls, ready for the next crucial step. The heart of "The loom of Lenore" lies in hand-knitting into garments. This artisanal approach fosters durability, easy repair, and a profound connection between wearer and clothing. The natural cotton ensures breathability and biodegradability, aligning with "Only Naturals." The inherent variations from the upcycled scraps create unique textures, celebrating repurposing. Adding to our commitment to natural processes, we utilize a unique black pigment for designs: soot is collected naturally on copper plates using ghee and cotton wicks. This soot is then mixed with milk extracted from soybeans to work as a binder, creating a rich, eco-conscious black pigment applied directly onto the fabric. "The loom of lenore" is a statement: transforming waste into beauty, fostering mindful fashion, and honoring a sustainable legacy. It’s a whisper against disposability, embodying a future where clothes, like cherished memories, defy decay
