Emma Peacock

I graduated from the University of Salford with a degree in Fashion Business and Promotion, where I developed a strong understanding of the fashion industry and its evolving landscape. During my undergraduate studies, I founded Daez my sustainable clothing brand, driven by a passion for creating fashion with purpose and building a brand that reflected my values. Building on this foundation, I continued my studies with a master's degree, using the opportunity to transform Daez into a circular fashion brand. My research and practical work focused on exploring sustainable business models, circular design principles, and innovative approaches that challenge the traditional fashion system. This experience strengthened my belief that the future of fashion lies in collaboration, education, and a commitment to responsible practices. I am passionate about helping drive positive change within the fashion industry by educating others, encouraging more conscious decision-making, and inspiring a shift in mindset around how fashion is designed, produced, and consumed. I believe meaningful change happens when businesses, consumers, and creatives work together to embrace more sustainable and circular solutions. Outside of my professional work, I enjoy teaching dance, which allows me to share my creativity and connect with my local community. When I'm not working or dancing, you'll usually find me spending time with my energetic eight-month-old Cocker Spaniel, Fonzi, who keeps life fun and full of adventure. I am excited to continue combining creativity, innovation, and sustainability to help shape a more responsible future for the fashion industry.
