Tiana Berry

My name is Tiana Berry, and I am a recent graduate of Oklahoma State University with a B.S. in Fashion Merchandising and a minor in Entrepreneurship. For the past two years, I have worked as an Assistant Buyer at Hobby Lobby, supporting the Seasonal Department across Christmas and Spring Shop, two of the company’s highest-performing categories. While I value my experience in buying and merchandising, my long-term passion has always been fashion design. Since childhood, I have been inspired by the creativity and storytelling within the fashion industry, first sparked by watching America's Next Top Model. To further develop my design skills, I launched a self-directed initiative called Design-A-Month, where I create an original product concept for a different brand each month. The project challenges me to expand my creativity, strengthen my design thinking, and explore new perspectives within the industry. This year, I am committed to pushing my creative boundaries and building a portfolio that reflects my growth as a designer. I share each Design-A-Month project on LinkedIn on the first Sunday of every month as I work toward transitioning into the fashion industry.
