"Style Begins Where Rules End". As a believer in this philosophy, I always try to create designs that express my emotions, my story, and my origin. Being a countryside girl, I always observe the bond between life and nature. From making doll dresses to real dresses, it has been a long and interesting journey for me. I am always attracted to nature, its chaos, calmness, and imperfections. Through my designs, I always try to present my roots, the simplicity of life, and the imperfections of nature. This is Mitali, a designer who loves to create simple and meaningful things inspired by nature and life.

A Tale of Roots

Category: Apparel

Competitions: Fashion Competition 2026

A Tale of Roots is a sustainable fashion project inspired by my hometown heritage, my childhood in the countryside, where life and nature exist in harmony. The collection reflects the beauty of simplicity, the strength of traditional craftmanship, and the quiet elegance found in natural imperfections. Using Khadi and other natural materials, the design celebrates slow fashion, cultural heritage, and mindful living. Through earthy textures, organic forms, and timeless silhouette, the project encourages a deeper connection with our roots while promoting responsible fashion. It is a story of identity, sustainability, and the enduring bond between people and nature
