This is the poem I´ve wrote that introduces the concept of the collection. “Before the wind, everything was simple. The body was home, the world was a field. Life demanded no meaning, only presence. Today we wear memories, but we can still be free. We just have to remember what we forgot.” Leonor Prioste It is about that instant when time did not yet exist, when the sun was warmer, the ground was closer, and fear did not yet have a name. It is the blurry memory of a freedom we did not know we possessed. The collection translates the desire to return to that state: to run without a destination, to feel the world with our skin, to believe without thinking. It is not about literal childhood, but about what remained of it: unfiltered courage/sincerity, and pure curiosity. This collection is born at the transition point between who we were and who we have become. It is a visual manifesto on childhood,not as a literal place to return to, but as a state of mind marked by courage, pure curiosity, and an unfiltered freedom that we enjoyed without even being aware of it. The narrative materializes through the contrast and evolution of two distinct textile languages: • The Literal Childhood (The Brushstrokes): The hand-painted graphic patterns emerge as a naïve, free, and spontaneous manifestation. They represent the raw gesture of a child running without a destination, a time when the world was a field and life demanded no meaning, only presence. • The Maturity of Memory (The Crochet): The three-dimensional textures, color blocks, and geometric structure of the crochet symbolize adulthood. It is the conscious attempt to structure, embrace, and bring order to those blurry recollections. By crossing the rawness of manual painting with the tactile complexity of knitwear, the collection proposes a dialogue between present and past. To wear these pieces is to wear memories,a vivid reminder that, even within a structured adult body, we can always choose to be free.
