The "white angel" symbolizes the ideal of womanhood that embodies purity, self-sacrifice, and adherence to societal norms. The garment contrasts this ideal with a woman's personal journey as she seeks independence, desire, and a sense of self beyond the restrictive expectations of femininity and society. As she awakens to her true identity, she ultimately rejects the "white angel" image, illustrating the struggle between societal expectations and individual freedom. This tension highlights the complexities of womanhood and the consequences of defying established norms.
