Julia Wywiał

Domus Academy

Interior Design MA / MFA

Julia Wywiał here, an interior and furniture designer, bringing a burst of creativity straight from Wroclaw, Poland. I'm currently pursuing a master's degree in design in Milan to further my skills. With a wealth of experience gathered from various design offices, I am thriving in the freelance realm while laying the groundwork for my own design empire. While my favorite aspect of daily work is 3D modeling and rendering, I also find solace and energy in technical drawings and working with materials or mock-ups. I must mention my killer dance moves. Dancing fuels my creativity like nothing else. When I'm not working or dancing, you can find me indulging in my passions for travel and cooking.

Rustle. The Armchair Design.

Category: Furniture

Competitions: Home Competition [Now Closed]

Rustle is an armchair designed for private use, drawing inspiration from the natural elegance of seashells and the serene beauty of the seaside. Crafted from natural materials, it fits perfectly in modern, luxurious, yet cozy coastal-style interiors. The design of the pillows and backrest mimics the graceful curves of a seashell, adding both aesthetic appeal and ergonomic comfort. Ideal for placement in a living room, Rustle offers a perfect spot for relaxation after work or on weekends. Targeted at adults, with or without children, this armchair is for those who value comfort and quality in their home furnishings. They work full-time during the week and seek a cozy retreat at home during their leisure time. The frame of the armchair is made of durable, natural beech wood, connected with wooden dowels. The main pillows are filled with natural materials and upholstered in 100% cotton, while the headrest cushion is filled with spelled husks, offering unique sensory and bring to mind noises from seaside - shell, sand or waves. This combination ensures that Rustle is not only a stylish addition to any home but also a practical and comfortable one.
