This look is part of a collection inspired by my personal journey of overcoming hardship through the love and support of my family, friends, and community. At its core is a realization that reshaped how I view struggle: “If someone holds your hand and jumps with you, it’s not falling—it’s soaring.” The entangled jacquard imagery depicts figures that appear to both fall and lift one another at the same time, expressing the balance between vulnerability and support. The wing-shaped cape and melting feather-like textures symbolize transformation through collapse and renewal, where falling becomes part of the journey toward soaring. The inner garment features cable stitches inspired by melting feathers and wings, further reinforcing the idea of growth, resilience, and hope. This piece speaks to inclusion and shared strength. It is not about standing alone, but about rising together. I hope those who wear it feel not only seen, but also supported, and are reminded that even in life's darkest moments, we can soar together. Natural materials are fundamental to this design. The entire look is made from 100% wool and 100% alpaca yarns, celebrating the beauty, warmth, and durability of natural fibers. The jacquard fabric was developed to minimize material waste, and every element was crafted with longevity and thoughtful construction in mind. Rather than encouraging disposable fashion, this piece is designed to be valued, cared for, and worn for years to come.
