Gianna Dai
Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD)
A junior majoring in Interior Design with a minor in Furniture Design at the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD). Originally from China, I spent two formative years studying and living in New York at Pratt Institute before transferring to SCAD to deepen my focus on interior and furniture design. I also completed a one-year professional internship in China, gaining hands-on industry experience while balancing international academic perspectives. Rooted in international education, I blend cross-cultural thinking with a deep passion for Chinese traditional culture, integrating its philosophy, aesthetics, and craftsmanship into my spatial and furniture creations. Beyond design, I am dedicated to spiritual healing and meditation, believing that mindful living shapes meaningful environments. I strive to design spaces that are not only visually compelling but also emotionally supportive, balancing functionality, cultural heritage, and mental well-being. With a vision to create thoughtful, healing, and human-centered design, I aim to contribute to a more gentle, balanced, and compassionate world.
