Following approaches from a number of design students, who are currently busy completing and submitting their degree projects, Only Natural has extended the competition submission deadline to 30th June 2024.
The Only Natural competition highlights the critical role of natural materials in modern design, providing a platform for students, and recent graduates, to demonstrate their skills while promoting sustainable solutions for the design industry.
Our inaugural competition is open to students currently in higher education and those who have graduated in the past two years (2022 and 2023). It is a call to action for young designers to prioritise nature in their creative processes and help redefine the future of design through sustainable practices.
Entrants can submit their designs in two categories: Fashion (footwear, apparel, and accessories) and Home (furniture and interiors). Each design must incorporate at least two natural materials, such as hemp, wool, wood or cotton, with other acceptable materials including bamboo, leather, mohair and cork.
With the deadline now extended to 30th June 2024, we hope aspiring designers have the extra time they need to perfect and submit their designs.
