HKU University of the Arts Utrecht (Hogeschool voor de Kunsten Utrecht) is one of the largest art universities in Europe, offering a wide range of programmes in arts, design, media, music and theatre. Located in Utrecht, a vibrant creative hub in the heart of the Netherlands, HKU educates students through practice-based studio work, experimentation and interdisciplinary collaboration. Its design department provides pathways in fashion, product and spatial design, emphasising creative thinking, material exploration and real-world project experience. The institution supports both Dutch and international students with bachelor’s, master’s, associate degree and minor options within its diverse creative curriculum.
