Ana Del Rio is an award-winning British/Spanish fashion designer specialising in leathercraft. Intending to lead a Leather Revolution, through her brand ANA DEL RIO, she focuses on creating timeless contemporary leather pieces which primarily focus on the fusion of the rich tradition of leathercraft with the innovation of surface techniques.
Following on from a BA (Hons) in Fashion Design, she is currently based in London at Cockpit Arts thanks to the Leathersellers x Cockpit Award. Other Awards she has received include the Real Leather. Stay Different: Overall International Joint Award 2023, the Graduate Fashion Week: Fashion Innovation Award 2023 and the Roadley Award 2023: Supporting Innovation in Sustainability.
Through her work as a Youth Advisory Board member for the Queen Elizabeth Scholarship Trust, a judge and ambassador for the Only Natural student design competition and a volunteer for the Inspire the Future campaign, she looks to empower youth, make a positive change in their educational experiences and aid young people aspiring to have creative careers. She hopes to create meaningful impact by making a mark on future generations whilst giving back to the industries and communities who have aided her on her journey so far.
