Alex is the co-founder of Arts Thread and the Global Creative Graduate Showcase, the world’s leading platforms for emerging artists and designers, serving as launchpads for the next generation of creative talent.

Over the past 15 years, he has helped thousands of creatives build their own brands and secure employment worldwide. With strong relationships across more than 1,000 creative higher education institutions in over 150 countries, Alex has partnered with influential organizations and brands such as Google, Nasdaq, Amazon, the United Nations, NYCxDESIGN, Gucci, WGSN, Levi’s, Nike, Milan Design Week, BBC Worldwide, and Herman Miller, to help shape and elevate the global creative community.

Before founding Arts Thread, Alex had a diverse career in design, working with leading companies such as Gap, M&S, and Banana Republic. He led the successful casual wear brand NASA, oversaw international business for the trend forecasting giant WGSN, and consulted for fashion and textile manufacturers across Italy, the UK, China, India, Turkey, and Puerto Rico, supplying renowned retailers and brands worldwide. He also headed the international fashion and textile division at Aquent, the world’s largest creative recruitment consultancy. Most recently, Alex has consulted for industry leaders such as Premiere Vision in Paris, Assopellettieri in Milan, and Ascential, the parent company of WGSN, Cannes Lions, and Coloro.
